steering box drain

Post by Oberon »

I'm trying to go through my pinz and change all of the fluids and do any other maintenance that I can think of. can someone tell me how to drain the steering box fluid? I can't seem to find a drain plug.
thanks
Spence

There is no drain, but there are 2 fill holes. One on the top of the steering box and the other near the top of the lower housing.
You have to use a suction device to remove old oil

Thanks Jim. I found the two fill holes before I posted, just thought I might be missing something.
Thanks,
