She's in great shape and runs great! Got a few little odds-n-ends to fix, but nothing major. Can't wait for camping season.

Lets hear some details...Did you strip, sand, prime and paint yourself? What paint (brand and color) did you use? Any tips for us with ugly Pinzgauers?

Former owner did the paint. Not sure of details.

todds112- congrats on the 712 looks very good.
i know the feeling. the two weeks i was off i don't think i drove my ford p/u at all took the pinz everywhere. it is so much fun. i have not done any 4 wheeling yet. trails are used by snowmachines if i goofed them up they would not be happy. i'm hesitant to run it on the beach....don't really want to expose it to salt water :x
i missed out in a winter adventure trip with some guys from alaska 4x4 forum last week end. :x did not see the post until until Sat. @0630 and they were meeting in Anchorage @ 0800. i'm 150 miles from there so it was too late to head out. jeeps, toyota p/u and ford 6 pack p/u.appeared to have fun day but deep snow caused some problems.
as far as i have been able to find out i may be the only 710 in the state.....there is appearently a 712k in Anchorage....saw photo here on this site.
