Tyres/tires BF Goodrich v Bridgestone

Post by Bermo »

I have a choice of buying Bridgestone Dueler Mud Terrain 673 v. BFGoodrich Mud Terrain for my 710M. The Bridgestone are a bit cheaper, and claim to be quieter on the highway. Any opinion? Goodrich have the better name, but I'd like the Bridgestone if it's true about the lower noise.

I've had a set of Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts (693) on my truck for about 3 months and a LOVE them. They are a lot quieter than the Dunlop Mud Rovers I replaced. So far, they have performed excellent in the rocky/sandy stuff around Las Vegas and over in Dumont Dunes in California. With the little rain we've had, they've performed nicely on wet roads too. I doubt they would do very well in mud. Perhaps joining Jim L. on one of his Big Bear runs later in the year will give me some snow insight as well.
