Cut-outs and sputter

Well. After all ignition and carburettor adjustments, I am quite satisfied with the engine behaviour. Starts right on and goes smooth and strong. If driven more or less steady at 70 kph (~50 mph) it returns 15 liters per 100 km.
What still wonders me are occasional cut-outs followed by powerfull sputter. The engine dies, but restarts on the first touch of the button. I did noticed that in happens only if I suddenly release the accelerator while it is necessary to reduce speed.
If I press the clutch simultaneosly with the accelerator release, there is never any problem and the engine purrs happily as allways.
Long descents with the engine braking also do not pose any problem.
I am curious if somebody else also notices similar behaviour with his pinz.
Has anyone any idea or experience, what might be the cause - did I miss something.
