.......by now I think you have it.
I had to pound one out from the bottom with a slim punch, but they all came out after release oil being applied.
Putting in removable pins is great, (I was installing door locks and new seals this weekend) they are so easy to remove if something needs to be done. Great for the desert.

Two items of advice...

1. Be patient with the application of penetrating fluid! (Use copious amounts - It will make your job with the BFH a lot easier!!)

2. Use the BFH very carefully! You can shift the hinges on the door side.

While I had my doors off, I changed out the screws with hex-head ones from Expedition Imports. They work a lot better than the originals.

YES! Be very careful with the BFH as it can indeed shift the hinges! I'd taken the doors loose from the truck, and used an anvil as a backup when I drove the pins out. But still they shifted.
Shifty bastards.

Patrick Robb from Cold War Remarketing in Littleton CO has this recommendation...
Remove doors & hinge by unbolting from the vehicle and then pressing them out with 20 Ton Press after much penetrating oil and filing off the locking dimple on the bottom of the pin.

20 Ton press = MOABFH
(as in Mother Of All BFHs...)

BFH....cute! How could anyone from Texas NOT know that? :P

When I used to work as a roughneck offshore years ago, we used to refer to the lead man or boss of the rig as the "HMFWIC".

You can PM me for the translation.

Dimple on the bottom?????

...Well don't I feel like an idiot

I guess that's why I had to soak it for a week and apply a very liberal dose of BFH!

Yeah, Ditto the idiot feeling. My pins are already out and I STILL didn't know about a dimple.

Sometimes a BFH = FUBAR

(Don't tell me they don't teach you guys THAT one in Texas!?!)

Still grinnin'
