I am thinking about removing the safety screen between the cab and cargo area on my 710m . I have removed the rear canvas and roll bar for the summer to protect the canvas from uv deteriation[ I cover the cab with a tarp] will removing the screen have an adverse effect on the body . kevin

If the mesh screens are removed (I'm talking about the ones directly behind the seats, not so much the central one) it weakens the overall structural integrity of the roll bar as a whole, but as to how much, that is the big question.
Personally I haven't removed the screens (and won't) because of where and how I use the vehicle and given the above I want all the strength I can get, but if access is a major priority then it may be an option.

712 Ambulance have only one screen. The one behind the driver. Removing the ambulance box and leaving the screen in place has not yet shown any adverse signs of weakning of the overall structural integrity of the roll bar, .... so far ( 2 years later).

You won't notice a weakness till it folds up like a piece of tin foil when you dump it on it's side or roll it
I've repaired a couple but it gets expensive

I understand Jim,

... but the 712 SAN (Ambulance) comes only with one screen as the other side has access to the window of the Ambulance shelter.
