change my name to pinz guy with allot of ?'s
in a 712 when driving on road is there power going to all of the back 4 wheels or just 2 of them ?

Well, more or less 4.
Both rear axles are being driven.
That said, both of those axles have active differentials at that time, which allow the vehicle to go around corners. So theoretically you could have one wheel from each axle stationary while the other wheel spun (imagine if one wheel from each rear axle was lifted off the ground). Thus, I guess you might say that only 2 wheels are driven.
When the rear axles are locked side-to-side (middle locker down) you truly have 4 wheels driven.
