You should list where you are, or update your profile. Any pics of that 304?

PM westernair
He was selling his Hafi with a nice rebuilt motor. CN find his ad so it may have sold?
I know of some but many are projects - how much work do you want, where are you located and what's your rough budget?
Cheers,

Thanks for the advice. Im in Oregon but Im willing to consider haffys anywhere. I am also willing to consider a project (they all seem to be projects on some level) but I prefer projects to be very complete. I donno the haffy market but willing to pay what it takes to get the right one. From what I have seem most of the ones similar to what I want have been selling in the 10-14 range - projects tend to be 2-6K

I have not seen anything in those ranges. I certainly would get one for that. Might even trade the pinz for one in good shape.

Just going off the sold vehicles on CWR and EI - I have no other basis - I'll pay whatever a fair price is for an example that I can work with.

You really should consider this pair George is offering up viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9837 There are enough parts for a complete Bug Eye restoration, 2 for under $3000, They are in B.C.
The spare parts alone are worth at least 4 times that much

Thanks Jim,
I went to look at those cars a few weeks ago in person. There is a lot there and they would make a great project. George is also a really nice fellow. However, these are also complete ground up restoration projects - body off, drivetrain scattered, full on nut and bolt restorations. At this time I would prefer a good example that I can tinker with and conserve - a rolling restoration. I may change my mind if something doesn't turn up.

The reserve was not met on that auction - when I talked to him 3 years ago he wanted $6500 for 1
He may have lowered his price?
