Interesting truck - I wonder what the history is. Haven't seen the side and rear antenna mounts like that. Is the step on the passenger wheel original as well? Funny that it is a swiss version but has the red cross on the front instead of the white cross...
Good luck with the sale!

Re: Museum Quality, all original 1921 Pinzgauer 710M with wi
This Pinz came from Amsterdam, it has odd things I have never seen with a Swiss Pinz, either. The hub steps are odd for sure and so are the mounts. It was said to have been Dutch, but then I found some mention of Bundeswehr as well.
Yep, I haven't posted in the last 6 years, but I've owned 3 Pinzgauers in that time. I just found a nice Diesel VW Doka that I want to get in Amsterdam, and the Pinz needs to go so I can make room for it... Plus, like I said, this Pinz is too nice for me

It looks like it should go back into a museum, too nice to use like a normal Pinzgauer.

Lads
A good way to research the history of any Steyr Puch vehicle is to obtain a copy of the "Wagenstammkarte", kind of the order and manufacturing log.

Thats a very cool site! I'll plug this one in tomorrow and see what it shows.
I've had a couple people ask for a video of the Pinz, and I plan to shoot one next week.

That form is just an order form to order your data card from S-tec and looks like they charge 90 euros for itMASSIVE PINZ wrote:Thats a very cool site! I'll plug this one in tomorrow and see what it shows.

If you want it you can just email s-tec your Pinz or Hafi VIN and pay about 1/2 the price (I paid 44 euros)

Fellas,
After one dead beat buyer who wasted two weeks of my time, and another who sent me a fake Certified Check for the purchase of this Pinz, its back on the market.
Sellers need to beware, because the person with the fake check had to be a member of this site, as he referenced the photos that I have only shared here, in this ad.

Send his email/info to me if you have it. The fake check scam is usually African in origin.

He was in New York state. He even called me, and wasn't African/ Nigerian. The check was drawn on Bank of America. Luckily I held the truck a few days and the check had time to clear before his shipper came to pick it up. Thank goodness for bad weather!

Even if your not a member here you can still see pictures on this site.
You can test it by logging out and then checking a thread with photos - you can see them, you just can't post/reply.
Perhaps Vince can turn on the "must be a member to view photos" feature?
I see that feature as good and bad but it is an option

I've had good luck here too, for a decade off and on... I was able to track the person through 3 alias' and find him in Charlotte, working at a printing company.
He can run, but he cannot hide....

Surely this is now just a matter of giving the police / bank the various details and let them deal with it? The bank would be keen to find whom ever presented a fake cheque, and the police have the authority to deal with fraud.
