Hey guys, I have a 712 that needs a couple of items and I can't find them... I've tried all the normal sources, SAV, EI and etc, and no one has a good fuel tank, or a doghouse lid.
My fuel tank has "red death" and I haven't found a way that this can be addressed easily, with a known good result.
The doghouse was missing when I received the truck... Does anyone have any leads for me?

SAV website shows that they have doghouses in stock, new and used. Did they run out and forget to update the website?

For a gas tank, give Andre a call at Fat Fab, he may be able to
build you a SS one -- no internal coating needed. And he does
the armor too boot.
I also know of at least one member who got a customer tank
built for his 710M fitted for a in-tank fuel pump. I may have
the URL to that company at home -- if your interested.

Re: Need Pinzgauer Fuel Tank and "Doghouse" engine cover
I have spoken with a local fuel tank fabrication company here in Phoenix. He says he can make a tank that is similar to the pinz original for just under $1k. He recommends aluminum because of the placement of the original tank. I am sure any fuel tank fabricator could make one if they had the original for a template.
Justin here in AZ has been doing gas gauge and sender modifications for the pinz. He is getting them dialed in and would be a good addition to a new tank so you could get proper fuel level readings.
On a separate note I have a stainless fuel tank and one of the corner welds is now seeping, not enough to drip just cause a dust stain. not sure if this is a stainless issue or a weld issue. I do like having the extended range of the larger tank and would choose to have one made if I had an original that was giving me troubles.
