Re: Looking for a halflinger
Do you have a preference on model?
Canadian, Swiss, US Pathfinder, etc?

Ideally US spec, not a polycab...but I don’t think beggars can be choosers

Re: Looking for a halflinger
I have two ex military units, and am willing to let one go.
I have one in great shape physically, engine and transmission are strong. Paint is nice. Has a low howl in the front end that I'm guessing is a bearing (you can look up my posts on the subject)
I have a second that the engine was rebuilt by jim, and the drivetrain is strong. Body is dull, and missing cargo doors, seat belts, etc. Exhaust pops
So duper drivetrain and average body or super body and howl in front bearing.

Yup, both are titled. It will take me a bit for photos. They are packed away for the winter, but I may have a few photos from last year.

No worries...this isn’t a sprint.
Where are you located? Year? Assume LH?

Both are in detroit. 1968, left hand drive. None of my trucks see the road when in salt season. No rot.

Re: Looking for a halflinger
Folks
please mind the correct spelling of these vehicles.
They are no half lingering vehicles; their name is taken from a breed of ponies in the Austro-Hungarian army.
The village "Hafling" in southern Tyrol (now occupied by Italy) is the origin of these sturdy ponies which are famous for their ability to pull heavy loads on narrow mountain footpathes.
The same goes for Pinzgauers, taking their name from a horse breed originating from the Salzburg district "Pinzgau"

Go here for photos:

First few are the nicer body. Images after the garage photo are the rougher body, but fresh drive train. Both have canvas tops
