24v Warn winch fully restored!

I had a very desirable Warn XD9000i winch from the 90's come to me that I decided to do a full 24v conversion and restoration on. This will be as good or better than new when finished.

NEW: motor, solenoids, drum supports, bushings, bearing and new remote- along with new USA made 3/8 synthetic dyneema rope! (breaking strength of 18,500lbs!) This will be one of a tiny handful of these winches in the world.

I'm posting a pic of the last one I built up. It will look 99% the same as this photo. Price is $1250 which I think you'll find impossible to beat for a USA made winch that is fully serviceable (unlike any Chinese winch!). This would cost you about $1750 new or more, if you could even get it in 24v.

All you'll need is a mount and fairlead! Andre has some options I believe.

Hello all, just posting an overdue follow-up on my winch installation. I'm very happy to state that I have a great M8 Warn from Vinces Winches on a mount by Andre Swanson at Fat Fabrications. Hardware provided by talented craftsman.. doesn't get any better. The set up works great! Thanks Vince & Andre!!! Now I have a bit of peace of mind when off trail.

Did you make the winch mount your self or get it from somewhere. Like the clean look & would like to have one for my 712M.

Hi J, my winch mount came from Andre Swanson at Fat Fabrications. It's a perfect fit. I also really like the straightforward functional design. Solid & well built. Highly recommend going to Andre for one.
