This is my friend's Dad's truck (in Dubai, UAE). It was bought at the same time as mine and sent to a workshop for restoration.

The price is roughly 20,500 USD or 18,000 EU.

The link to the online listing is here : http://tnydu.biz/DOtCOf

It is not so hard to export from here if someone was interested.

Note he listed it as a 712M, it is not. It is a 712W.

Note the high vaulted roof when compared to an ambulance. You can stand up in it unless your family name is Lurch.

The box does come off via helicopter if you have one.

Wow - looks like a great truck! The 712W's seem to be the most rare variant. Love the large side hatch window also - could make a roach coach / lunch truck out of it!

Yeah, we made jokes about that. If you can get it to a remote place with lots of people you could pretty much charge whatever you want for a hamburger and a coke

I was also thinking it would be nice to put a bed under the hatch. It would be nice to wake up in the morning looking straight out at a beach/mountain/desert/lake/whatever.

Too bad Jerry Brown won't allow a truck like that here in Kommiefornia.

I love my 712W! But I believe mine was more of a Swiss radio command truck built from the workshop box. It now has a queen sized bed, 200W solar power, fridge, & microwave. I do like the raised cab, however, but I think I get more out of the outside rack storage than I would the high cab. And with the cab attached to the box, a helicopter won't get that box off!

pretty sure it would one way or the other. Few bolts and some sealant against a chopper.

PS - I like your truck too.
