Re: Looking to buy Volvo TGB11
Welcome to the forum.
I don't know much about the Volvo's but others should chime in shortly with some info.
Good luck with your search!

Re: Looking to buy Volvo TGB11
I dealt with Joacim and found his service and help excellent, he surpassed all my expectations. In the beginning I called him which let him know I was a serious buyer and not a time waster. I think these guys get a lot of emails expressing interest in buying but often the sale will never eventuate for whatever reason, so I think it would be wise to give a call and introduce yourself and have a chat about what your looking for. After our initial chat Joacim and I must of exchanged at least 20 emails and he almost always replied within 24 hours, within 3 weeks he had sourced and bought the two volvos I wanted and both were in excellent condition.
I haven't checked the Swedish volvo market for some time but I would guess you could expect to pay between €5500 and €7500 euro for a well kept, tidy example and add your shipping costs to that. Both of my 1314 ambulance's (6x6) were in the €7000 range, but i think tgb 1111's were similarly priced. The longbody Command cabs were priced considerably higher and hard to find in good condition especially in 6x6. Joacim did mention that there were a lot of tgb 20's (long wheelbase 6x6) about to be released and some nice examples would be coming into the market for around the €7500 mark and a forum member recently advertised a nice looking one of these in the classifieds here, included was a set of 3 new high ratio crown wheel and pinions, IIRC this was located somewhere in USA and was well priced.
Good luck I hope this helps
Warren.

Re: Looking to buy Volvo TGB11
Here's the link to the tgb 20/C306 I spoke of in my previous post, actually on eBay and was reposted here.

A fair bit bigger than a 1111 but I thought it was worth a mention anyway.

Re: Looking to buy Volvo TGB11
I sent you a message but I am not sure if it got to you. I am also looking to get a TGB11 into Canada.
