Did you check the parts dealers already? Or is there a shortage?

SAV has both the rebuild kit (small idle screws) and the individual screws in stock according to their site.

I'm looking for the same rebuild kit (small inset idle screws), but SAV has two options which are each a different mix of parts. And one is out of stock. Are either of these two kits all that's needed for a full carb rebuild, or there other parts I'll want during the rebuild?

My core issue is I'm seeing rising oil levels after operation, and have already rebuilt the fuel pump so next up seems the carbs.

Option 1:
2 x Carb Repair Kits, 2 x Seals Acc Pumps, 2 Carb bottom Gaskets, 2 x Seal Ring Air Intake, Rubber Boot Air Intake - #SAV3981
https://swissarmyvehicles.com/pinzgauer ... adj-screws $149.50 (out of stock)
This kit also has extra rubber boots for carb-to-air-box and air-box-to-filter-box.

Option 2:
2 x Includes Seals, Float Needle Valve and Idle Adj Screws. Acc Pumps are extra $18.50 each order no 7122085120/ - #SAV3992A
https://swissarmyvehicles.com/pinzgauer ... j-set-of-2 $89.50 (in stock)

To make #2 like #1:
Add two carb-to-intake gaskets (#7121080071): +$8.75 x 2 --> $17.50, so $89.50 + 17.50 --> $107.00
Add two carb-to-airbox gaskets (#7121081281): +$12.75 x 2 --> $25.50, so 107.00 + 25.50 --> $132.50
Add airbox-to-filter-box gasket (#7122190041): +$16.48, so 132.50 + 16.48 --> $148.98

Make sure all shut off solenoids are working.

Throttle shaft seals would be helpfull but they are also out of stock.

I Read somewhere there were suppose to be two shouldered screws and two partially threaded screws between throttle body and float bowl. Mine did not have the shouldered screws but SAV sells them. I opted to get 4 of them since 4 of the screws are not in good condition anyway. Don't forget the lock washer for them. I did have to sand the screws a little and drilled the holes in the throttle body with a 6.5mm diameter drill to let the screw slide well.

Assorted sandpapers, I used 80 up to 400 but saw someone else did up to 1200 grit.

I got an assorted float valve washer, 0.5 and 1mm ones just in case and ended up using some of them.

Seems like those are easy to change later, and that I'd have run-on issues if one wasn't working.

Those sound important -- this one?

Do others feel these are likely to need replacement? I ask because it seems like it's be a PITA to change them later if carb is back on the engine so one might want to replace them with any rebuild. True?

What part #? It's not obvious in the part list.

I'm presuming it's not special and standard metric lockwasher will work.

Shouldered screw, #72

Some I believe just use locktite, but I do think these screws minimize the vibrations and lessen the chance for loosening, but I still use locktite. Also Jim L mentions it in his carb rebuild instructions.

The corresponding washer is as you mentioned. Probably any other type of lock washer would work too.

Yes for the adjustable washer / float valve washers.

And yes for the thottle shaft seals. It may not be too hard to replace them later but I would think at least require removing the carb from the engine, but I don't think you need to disassemble the carb itself completely.
