I really like the wheels. The only place that I had seen that done was on Mog fire trucks so that it could be seen if it was moving or still.
The price seems reasonable for the condition of the vehicle. ...but, I can only have one toy and the pinz got here first.

That rim paint scheme is fairly common with some of the emergency vehicles.. several of the Swedish 716s had it

You mean... like when they'd park it in a slope?

Joke aside, do you know why they need this kind of visual reference of the truck's movement (other than the visible motion of the truck)?

Is the seller the guy in Utah that was selling a very trick looking 712 a few years ago? That truck had been heavily massaged and had all kinds of add ons, roll cage, stereo, winch(es), lights etc.

I don't know about a 712, but I wouldn't doubt it. He's either in Logan or Brigham City and it was ARS clean up or ARS disaster cleanup or so. The mog is in OK shape, but my buddy's finding some "interesting" things like a 12v winch instead of 24v and not a great bond from the red paint to the mil green.

Genevapinz,

The fire Mogs were done like that so at a distance other responders could tell if the vehicle was moving. It could be an important thing for safety of ground personnel.
I was told this by a Mog owner of a firetruck. I guess he should know.

I remember seeing it listed once maybe twice.

Some might consider its current paint scheme/theme about as subtle as driving around in a fire engine tho. Might have some effect on why it hasn't sold.

Thanks Morris,
I was wondering why they needed it on top of actually seeing the whole truck moving, but I can easily imagine that in less than perfect visibility conditions, in the heat (literally) of the action, any little help knowing what goes on exactly will be useful.
