Sorry everyone...I took pics of the seats but can't seem to load them. Any suggestions? Or I can email them if that works too.

I am no longer interested in purchasing as I am not interested in bidding against fellow board members.
"Normally" if someone posts something for sale here in the classifeds - the 1st person who offers to buy them for the asking price would get them.
In this case it seems that a few people PM'd the seller and I guess it is now a 'get as much as I can for them' type of sale.
Cheers,
Dan

Well then...

First--- I don't know how things "normally" go on this board as I'm a new member as well as a new Pingauer owner.
Second--- If you read the original post, it was for a set (all four 4) seats. Not two.
Third--- I could care less about a few bucks. I was simply trying to be fair.
Fourth--- Your smug comment is tasteless and ignorant.

As much as I would like to have them, I'm out too. eBay and here.

Typically, you advertise with a price. I asked you at least twice for a price and shipping. i offered to take all four or two depending on price and what techmogogy wanted. Next thing I know, you let me know there was to much interest and you listed them on eBay. I'd say we're a pretty tight community here and go out of our way to help each other with parts, advice, and whatever to keep our beasts going.

As a new guy, it feels like you smelled opportunity and ran with it, which you have every right to do.

Good luck with the sale, I don't want to do business with you.

As much as I wanted two seats, really, really wanted, I am out too.

It really has nothing to do with being new to a forum. The protocol in all the forums I belong to, and list items for sale on, is the first shot goes to the first response. If arrangements cannot be reached, you move on to the next. I have bought and sold/traded a few items on this forum over the past year and each transaction was great.

If you were just trying to gauge interest, then you should have posted to that effect...ask what they are worth etc....in the Body and Interior Section. You posted in the Classified section.

As mentioned, this is completely your prerogative, but definitely bad form and etiquette. Good luck with the sale. Someone else will benefit from the three of us backing out.

It never garners any respect from the community when you don't join and participate until you happen to have something to sell. I was thinking about some rear seats since I have a seat-less Rapier, but I think I'll wait for something else to come along.
