OK Dave, we can crawl all over Mozo at MogFest.
Something is really odd here, but I am a happy camper :D

Oh, bring my spare rear window with you if it hasn't made it to the dumpster

I've been neglectful on keeping this thread current. Still have plenty of tinted windshields ( for local pickup) and clear and tinted door glass sets available ( in the up armored UPS/Fedex proof boxes  )

Armored is an understatement! Moved windows three times in the same box,
as the 1'st batch was too tight for my frame -- an odd duck. Back to Dave,
and custom cut ones back to me -- now fits like a glove :D

The tinting make an enormous difference on heat in the cab.

Another happy customer. Just installed Daves glass and WOW noticeable improvement. The glare is gone and just feels more comfortable sitting in the cab. Cant wait to get a windshield.

Thanks Dave!

Only 1 tinted windshield left at $155 price. Next order expected to be in the $235 range. I am not sure when I'll be re-ordering.

I have 9 or 10 tinted front door glass sets

Fresh batch of AS1 DOT tinted windshields are hot off the truck. And if you're in SoCal you know they are hot!
The price is is $220.00. If anyone is going to Calico Mogfest 2016, I can bring pre -paid windshields or door glass set with me. Trust me, I won't sleep with glass.

The original post and title has been updated.

David I would like a full set of tinted glass for my "74" 710K, and I would like to bring it to you and have you install the glass.
When you have time. I already bought and have the new rubber.

I found the label:

I guess I'm OK
Just got our 1971 710M last week. The windshield says:

SWISSlamex
Safety Laminated
BF-C
D-2217

The side windows say:

PROTEXIT
0501

Although I didn't see a direct response to the quoted post, I believe we are OK with the laminate glass. Correct? How about the side windows described in this post?

Your glass is good as is. Just a matter if you'd like to upgrade to tinted for glare and heat reduction.

Daves tinted green cast glass is an upgrade you can "feel" when driving. I did the side glass ( because its shippable) and IMEDIATELY felt a difference , so much that I ordered 2 winshields ( in case of rock chip later in life) and waited almost a year trying to coordinate a shuttle from LA to the NW. On 3 forums, several events later with a few people willing to get close to Norther Oregon, I finally pulled the trigger on a JKU wrangler in California so I could fly in, buy and drive to see Dave and pick them up personally. A $45,000, 1800 mile drive 3 day haul for a pair of windshields and worth every penny.

Hey Jon,
I was wondering if you made it back ok, or bounced something off the glass.
That's a nice JKU... sure is red.

It's called "Road Trip". Tell the other half you're taking the family to Disneyland, and btw the way, picking up glass for the Pinz.

I feel like Dave's windshield (and a new gasket), is one of the absolute best upgrades I've made to my 710.
