WTB: Volvo C303 Hardtop or Pinzgauer 712M

Post by gufesd »

Hello Everyone,

I would like to purchase a Volvo C303 Hardtop or a Pinzgauer 712M that is 1975 or older - so it can be registered in California. I used to have a 1975 Pinzgauer 710K, but found it to be a little unstable in a lot of situations. It needs to be in good condition overall. Send me a private email if you know of any for sale. Thanks in advance.

You aren't likely to find a pre 1975.

Thank you for the offer, but I needed the vehicle to be 1975 or older.

Due to the surprising Euro to Dollar exchange rate, I have found and paid for a 1975 Volvo C303 from the Netherlands that will hopefully arrive at the end of May.

So this should conclude my search for another vehicle. Thanks again.

If you're still looking for Pinzgauer 712M, I now have my 1973 Pinz 6x6 for sale. I'm located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and my price is CDN$16,500. It's one helluva bargain for a US buyer ....

North of the 49th here, there's not much of a Pinzgauer following and virtually nobody the likes of Jim LaGuardia is here to hold a Pinz owner's hand. This is Eric Minnick's truck that I bought from him when he closed down his offroad tour business in Big Bear. This Pinz is in fine order but my price is reflective of what I believe will make it attractive to a Canadian buyer. I hate to admit it, but it's also a bit of a desperation sale ... I have a 1991 military Mercedes G-wagen on the way from Europe and I need the space the Pinz currently occupies.

If anyone wants to buy my Pinz for more than my asking price, I won't say no ....

Same truck on both posts.

He was asking 20k. As an example, you could get one in Denmark right now that isn't in as good of shape for 10 euro, or 11,260 US dollars, and about 5-6k to import it. So 20k isn't unreasonable at all for a well fixed up truck.

Hi Chris,

Welcome to the forum. You should consider adding your location to your profile, even if you're selling your truck and don't plan to be here long. It might increase your chances of selling it, plus it's the 'law'.

From Vince:
I'd like to ask any poster to do the following:

-List where you or the item is located! Esp. if you didn't fill out your profile (please do that)

It's always seemed like a small price to pay for free advertising, at least in my opinion.

FWIW, 503 area code is Portland, OR.

sorry, I can not get the profile done, it just doesnt allow me to type in the info. Not for lack of wanting to, and agree, small price for use of this cool site.
The truck is still available , and I'm looking for OBO on it, really sweet truck, just no room for it.

Thanks, Chris
