Hello All
To avoid any confusion, I have started this thread for Calico Mogfest '07. Hopefully this will eliminate any confusion with what Alan is posting to the Mog E list.
Please check the sites numbers below carefully, Alan was not able to reserve C9 to C17 for the weekend
Please post any questions here, or email me directly:

This is the latest from Alan, as of Aug 25, 2007
I thought it might be a good idea to post the current status of available
spaces for Calico. We reserved 19 spaces with electricity and 25 spaces with
no hookups. We have 20 requests for the 19 spaces available with electricity
so the first 19 that send in their camping fees gets the spaces. The last
person will still have a primitive space available.
Of the 25 primitive spaces 13 are spoken for. There are still spaces
available through the Calico Campground but they are not in the area we will be
located. Spaces will be first come first served for the most part with the
exception of the following:
C-18 Kia
D-9 & D-10 Mog Central
D-11 John Wessles - Coffee area
D-12 Scott from E.I. with smoker
D-15 Me (Alan Draper)
D-16 Mark Dixon
D-17 Dave Dunn
(added 8/26)
( edited 9/19)
E-1 or E2 Rob Wyatt
E-3 Bruce Berger
E-4 Michael Rosenblum
E-5 Jim LaGuardia
E-6 Eric Minnick
E-7 Bernhard Lietner
Most of these reserved spots are due do rig size or proximity to MogCentral
for cooking. Have I missed any that I should have on my list? Once again,
here are the spaces we have reserved:
Partial hookups (electric):
C-18 thru C-21
D-10 thru D-17
E-1 thru E-7
Primitive:
C-1 thru C-8
C-22 thru C-29
D-1 thru D-9
In all areas there are community water faucets and the restrooms aren't too
far from our main group. I am collecting for Friday and Saturday nights only
so if anyone wants to come up early just pay at the gate for the extra
night. Partial hookups are $42 for the two nights and primitive spaces are $36
for the two nights. The MogFest registration fee is $25 per adult to cover the
cost of food for the two dinners and two breakfasts. You can mail me a
check or use PayPal if you prefer. Please post any questions about camping, the
event, spaces, etc so everyone has all the information available.
Thanks to all who are helping put this years' event together.

The name of the people that have signed up are here:
http://mogfest.mavericksworld.com/registration_res.asp
Priority will be with those that signed up first.... and anyone at this point needing electricity need to contact Calico directly and try to reserve a hookup campsite.
I will suggest to Alan that maybe someone that needs power only for lights or low power needs could use a primitive site next to a partial hookup site, and use an extension cord? As the list stands, poor Alex miss out on a hookup site.

From Alan to the mog list, cross posted here
Guys;
Joe just updated the list of folks who have signed up for Calico:
_http://mogfest.mavericksworld.com/registration_res.asp_
(http://mogfest.mavericksworld.com/registration_res.asp)
If the info in the "From" field starts off with a comma or is blank, please
sign up on line or e-mail Joe directly to fill in the blanks.
_joe@poweredbygeek.com_ (mailto:joe@poweredbygeek.com)
Looks like the event is shaping up nicely with 80 people so far. There are
lots more spaces in other parts of the park so don't worry if you don't get
one of the last 12 that we have reserved in our block.
Friday night is Mog-Brauts night with all the fixin's so make sure you show
up hungry!

Anyone that has signed up for a campsite and haven't paid yet, needs to get payment to Alan ( I saw 8 Pinzers on the list), and those reserving their own campsite, but want meals, also need to pay soon so that enough food can be bought.
Dave
Here is the latest from Alan.
List;
We have people signed up for all 44 pre-reserved campsites so anyone
planning to come to the event who hasn't signed up on _www.mogfest.com_
(http://www.mogfest.com) please make camping reservations through _www.calicotown.com_
(http://www.calicotown.com)
We are overbooked on the spaces with partial hookups by three spaces but we
do have enough primitive spaces for all those who have signed up. If you
haven't sent in your payment for the spaces or made other arrangements please
let me know so there is no confusion when we all arrive expecting a place to
camp!
This year looks to be another great family event with plenty of food, trails
and entertainment for all. A few of us are heading out there this weekend
to do some pre-event scouting to see if we can find some new trails that we
have not done in past events. For those of you (like Joe) who want a challenge
we will have a group running Odessa and Doran so you can fulfill your need
for body damage.
We will be posting more info as the event nears so stay tuned. (Dave Dunn;
please cross-post to the Pinz list.)

OK, I just updated the reserved sites in the first post above.
You will notice that most all of the E sites belong to Pinzers, so henceforth, it will be refered to as "Pinzy Lane".... didn't the Beatles have a song by that name?

Mogfest was a blast, big thanks to Alan , all the sponsors, and all the volunteers who helped make it great. I counted 15 Pinzgauers and over 20 Unimogs and 3 Haflingers there.
The Haflingers did great on the hard trial ride, didn't need a single tow. Can't wait to see some video posted by others soon
Here is a group shot

My pic's are posted in my photobucket, just follow the link at the bottom.

Pretty cool. Your country there at Calico isn't a whole lot different than the area around Langtry close to me. The major difference I saw was the rock passageways. It gives me hope that since my Pinz can handle the ranches around here I might actually be able to someday attend one of these events without floundering and flailing around. It looks like it was a great time. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Here's some pics. I'm waiting on Pictures to be sent to me from a bunch of people; my cameraman dropped the camera on Saturday afternoon so we didn't get anything after about 2:00 PM Saturday.
