Muffler (Silencer) Alternatives

Post by Garrycol »

My Haffie has a motorcycle muffler that comes out the front of the rear wheel. This does not meet roadworthy requirements and will have to be changed.

I believe I will be able to source new Haflinger muffler from the UK but shipping to Aust will be expensive. So before taking this action I thought I would check here to see if anyone has found and aftermarket or other brand muffler that might go in without too much modification. I need the exhaust the exit at the rear as per original to meet registration requirements.

Thanks

I ended up searching all the local bike wreckers and exhaust places and did not find anything that could easily be adapted. Also there does not seem to be a standard alternative to the original muffler so I ended up getting an original.
