I remember working on Lurch in weather like that! COLD! Looks like you could build a "lean to" type building around it. That would keep the worst of the weather off it and you when you want to work on it. Did you find any other "surprises" like your broken steering saddle?

The driveline seems to be not too bad. The tires are by far too wide and crowd the springs. There was also some of the dreaded old orange silicon which in experiences yells, "I've been buggered about with! :twisted: " around the transmission. It is inside now and on stands. The transmission seems to shift and turn without alarming me yet but more testing and poking about is needed. Time will tell...
