Hey Mike,
Got one of the K079 when they first came out... unfortunately, still in the box .... pieces too small for my hands... goin' to have to keep modin' the full side model .

Re: Pinzgauer TD Models
I've got the same model, mine is still in the box aswell, I will get round to building it one day. ( I've already got the illuminated magnifying glass, it will be needed !! )
Re: Pinzgauer TD Models
You need to build it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont like it so much now...... enough trouble playing with big bits let alone taking mini Pinz's home and dismantling them

I also bought that model. It took me 3 years to build it! Mainly because I have a real Pinz parked outside and it just feels wrong spending time on a model when my real one needs attention, which is most of the time.

Yeah Mike... I expected a CKD and a tart for the assembly ( isn't that the going price? )... Imagine my disappointment when I got only one small box in the post.fesm_ndt wrote: ...for 50quid I thought it was in one piece........ must be a really nice model, but tinkering with plastic is not my thing now days

Mike, just set the box in front of me, and already know I'm in trouble... it clear states " This Product is not a toy, AND is unsuitable for children".fesm_ndt wrote:[....must be a really nice model, but tinkering with plastic is not my thing now days
Once the box is opened, the lid won't shut completely again, and the instructions are 12 pages long (in comparision, Jim's EFI conversion sheets are only 3 pages )
Think I'll stick to building Haflingers... parts aren't that tiny or fragile.
