As "ako" said, a sausage (usually beef) ...... We'll have to teach you Aussie slang Vince.
Yes, it really is KISS, but when I tell it to the students nowdays I have to tone it down.....Can't go calling people stupid!

I'm sorry to hear the politically correct BS has even infested the Aussie shores! It's a sad day.
My son is a 2nd stage sheet metal worker apprentice here in Canada and will be very impressed when I show him your work. Maybe I can get him inspired to work on a hard top for my 710M....

Unfortunately political correctness is one of those spreading ideologies that is affecting us all.
Good luck convincing your son to help you build a hardtop for your Pinzgauer.....I look forward to seeing the end reults.

I've eventually started construction of the final panel I need to make for the body......the right rear door skin.
I was given an old rusted door by one of our German members, which I cut the door handle detail out of, and will weld it into the new "skin" (that will save me some fab time).
I'm happy that the fold height/widths of the new skin are within +/- 0.5mm of the original unit so it should line up nicely.
In the next few days I'II fold the sides and fit it to the already finished inner door shell.
