Pinz at Iola, WI car show

So, I drove the pinz over to the big car show in Iola, WI this weekend and entered it in. There were over 2500 cars in the show and I think the pinz got about as much attention from the spectators as any of them. I never get tired of watching people's jaws drop when they see the pinz. Priceless. Well worth the price of admission and we're already making plans to attend next year.

Are you going back up for the milveh show August 14-15? I'm hoping to go and meet some of the many folks I've met via the internet lately. Having an extra Pinz driver might be handy, in case any of them want to go postal on yours truly.

They also told Tom L. that if we can get 3 or more Pinzgauers to show up, they'll run a separate class for us. (Where's that darn beer-toasting icon when I need it?)

I had originally planned on heading out to the milveh show, too, but I doubt I'll make it with the Midwest treffen the weekend before. I'd like to, though, and we'll have to see yet. Hopefully we'll see you (and a bunch of other pinz lovers) in a few weeks down in Iowa!

I had a similar experience around 3 years ago. Jim and I drove my yellow 710 to a local car show to check out the show. We parked in the parking lot right next to the vehicles on display, and it was impossible for us to get out due to the entire group checking out the other vehicles swarming us.

Very cool to pull up in a $12K truck and have everyone leave the $100K plus show cars.
