Pinz in a movie

Post by JC »

I saw a Pinzgauer 710K in the movie trailer Thor.
It is first shown 2 min and 34 seconds in and then you see quite a bit of it in the trailer.

This clip might be removed soon until the official release.
The trailer was shown at Comic Con .

Hi Guys,

Thor should have some MAJOR Pinzgauer usage in the film. We have not determined how much ended up on the cutting room floor, but based upon the script we should have some pretty good screen time.

Of unique note on the trucks:

Front Armor Bumpers
Additional Side Windows
Top safari roof

These were highly modified vehicles.

For those really interested in a piece of the film, drop me a line, we might be able to sell you one of four film vehicles after release.

Cheers,

We are currently under an NDA with the production company...but as soon as the film comes out we can post up some of the build photo's, 3D's of the bumpers, roof structure, etc., etc.

It was a fun project to see come to fruition. As a few might remember we had put out a call for the purchase of 710K's. 6 Trucks later, some nice, some not so, we were able to deliver 4 trucks for the filming. 3 that are in normal operating condition, and 1 that was gutted to use on the stage on the green screen.

I hope it is a hit. Trailer looks good. Natalie looks good! :)

Cheers,
