I think Vince is asleep somewhere. I just don't see this post going past unanswered. That or he's still busy drooling too?

A few years back there was an older G Wagon with MBU axles under it . Wasn't 6x6 or anywhere so fufu :)

Just in case it wasn't already way over the top with it's bamboo lined rear bed (whatever that might look like), it's got the AMG twin turbo 550hp motor too. All it needs is a death ray and it's PERFECT.

Ha, yes I did see that insanity. Over the top 100%! We only need about $999,000 and 7 37" mud tires.

:( I miss portal axles.

What is the difference between German engineers and designers?
Engineers build a rugged, beautiful and most capable off- roader.
Designers put in white seats, white steering wheel and white floormats!

No articulation in the rear compaired to a Pinz. Which by the way has NO articulation compared to a 6x Volvo! 8)

Want to see the bamboo bed?
Note: its in Arabic (Farsi?) with English subtitles.

After viewing this, I thought it might not be long before someone customizes a Wrangler or F350 into a 6 wheeler. Even the prototype would be cheaper than the
Mercedes version.
Wonder if we could get EI to come out with a central tire inflation system kit for the 712?? I could always find a place for more gauges and switches. :D
