Hello,
I have tried to sum up the history of Pinzgauers in the US on my website at:

Any additional information and pictures would be very welcome!
Thanks and kind regards,

Re: Pinzgauer History in the United States
Thank you so much for all your time and effort spent on this - very interesting to read all of the history of the Pinz in the USA market.
I remember when that silver Pinz that Arnold had owned was sold to Japan - interesting but odd looking... There were some more pictures of it around but I don't remember who had them.
Your site is so full of great material!

Constantin,
You should visit with Jerry Bockus (you probably know him, he is a Haffy guy as well). I believe at one time he owned the two U.S. versions which included the one Europa sold on consignment to Arnold.

I had spoken with Jerry back in '02 when I got my 716 and he had only 1 of the 716K. The 5 speed that he sold went to the UK( somewhere around '92, iirc).
As he had told me, there were 2 trucks imported for EPA testing, a 5 speed manual and an automatic
