Hi all
New on this forum, my husband and I are getting fitted out a Pinzgauer 712M to travel around the world. Hopefully everything will be finished in January 2022 and we should start our trip with Australia seeing as it is the country that has the most restrictions for temporary imporation.
My question is can anyone give me an insurance company that might insure this sort of vehicule for 1 year?
The car is coming from France and will have French number plates.

In Australia, I would contact Shannons Insurance. They specialise in classic cars, and my Pinz is insured with them here in Tasmania. If they can't help they might put you onto someone who can.
Be sure to visit Tasmania if you make it to Australia and drop in and say hi.

Tasmania is the first place on our list once we pick up our vehicule because my sister and husband are building a house at the moment there. Not far from Launceston.

Je viens d appeler Shannons pour un devis et comme on va être en balade et malgré que je peux donner un adresse en Tasmanie, ils ne couvrent pas des nomades.
Je peux toujours essayer d appeler en donnant une adresse en WA comme ca au moins ca sera sur le continent (j ai un oncle à Perth) en sachant que le véhicule arrivera à Fremantle
