For the Canucks out there, CTC sells them for $1.50 or so.

I'm still working with them to make sure they'll fit ok. I had to cut them a little shorter cause the threaded area was too long.
I found some clear tubing easily enough but I'm still looking for a seal washer. Could re-use the one on the jet I suppose.

I would think a plain aluminum or steel washer followed by an “O” ring would work well.pcolette wrote:I found some clear tubing easily enough but I'm still looking for a seal washer. Could re-use the one on the jet I suppose.

When you mentioned what size yours were, I thought the M7x1x34 may be too short, but since you cut so much off, mine might be just right.

I did find 7mm steel washers today so just need a gas-proof o-ring to go with it. McMaster has some so Tuesday I should have it complete.

 May be able to just slice 1 or 2 mm off that clear tubing and use that in place of an "O" ring till you can get an "O" ring.

Re: Carb float tools - spot the difference!
For those of you that are following this thread but are reluctant to fix the carbs yourself...go on and install the bleed nipple but instead of using clear tubing, use black fuel line and you'll know for sure that you need to have you carbs fix'd by someone else. Sorry...had to do it!
Re: Carb float tools - spot the difference!
I finally found some time to finish this up. Turned out okay and for about $4 in parts it's a nice solution.
I've got 8 bleeder screws left over, so if TechMOGogy, djw, audiocontr and kpoling are still interested, send me your addresses and I'll mail a couple to each of you.
