Traveling tomorrow morning. Fly in to San Diego for an overnighter. Then off to WA state the next evening. We'll be picking up a Jeep and driving it back to E Texas with a few pit stops on the way. Feel free to reach out to me and Dave if you want to shake hands, talk trucks, or grab a bite when we pass through.

Be safe. I hear the weather up in WA has been pretty rough lately - lots of flooding, etc.

I assume you are doing the 5 but if you hit the 101 over this way, let me know, there's a Thai place or an Irish pub near by, both with some amazing food.

Thank you for all the hospitality as I would have loved to hang out, talk trucks, and eat.
But as luck would have it. We opted to shoot the pass on I-90 and ended up getting past the storm and into Jefferson City, MT by 0400 the next morning.
After meeting up with old service members and checking out some local sites, we rolled out by 1430 only to show up in Limon, CO. by 0430 the next day.
We were back on the road by 1000 after showers, breakfast and catching up. Last leg of the journy took us the longest. No road maintenance was done on the OK side of US 287. What should have taken 4 hours, took 9 due to several accidents and slow moving traffic.
Plus sides, My son's Jeep ran perfectly, handled well, and the heater worked great.
Now I just need to catch up on sleep and get back to work.

Good to hear you made it back without issues, other than some sleep deprivation. What style Jeep made the trip? Surprising my wife with a 2013 XJU. Just have to figure out where to hide it.
