Did anyone see that? Who's truck? The episode is called "Anything but 4 wheels". 1977 Austrian 712K.

Found a link to that spot. Not sure about that price tag but, interesting they would include a 712K and find one around LA somewhere to film!

Most likely that came from EI as did the dealer price he qouted but that is just my guess:

A LOT of that episode ended up on the cutting room floor when they needed to focus in on Jays unexpected rollover in the same episode. Only a certain amount of time total and when something like that happens, it gets the air time. As originally filmed there was a ton more airtime on all 3 vehicles, talking about the histories, operation, etc.
You win some, you lose some.......
