Was down in the city, in the Beverly Hills section, and passed the usual supercars, but this one sort of stood out. A gold Mclaren. Notice the tag... that's oil money! What's $230,000 plus the gold paint job to someone worth many more zeros?
When we pulled up to the stop light, I wondered if my $3000 toyota impressed him.

More "only from the Gulf states" (and I'm not talking about Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida...) than "only in Hollywood".
I guess when there's another 3 in you neighborhood, you have to do something to stand out: a gold full-body wrap seems like a good way to do it.

He's probably vacationing and brought his run-about car with him (I think it fits in the cargo hold of his yacht)

Ha, he probably thinks my car is what homeless people drive.
Is that a wrap, or do they just dip them in gold?
