Neil Armstrong movie

Post by VinceAtReal4x4s »

If you guys want something to do on a weekend evening, the movie "First Man" was a great ride. It has to be seen in a theater. I don't think it will work well on a TV. The sequences of Neil doing test flights, working toward the Apollo mission is amazing and very real feeling. It opens with an X15 flight and my jaw was hanging open the whole time. I saw it in an IMAX which helped.

These days it's rare to see something from here in Hollyweird made without a hint of political correctness bullshit or anything like that. This is straight up astronaut stuff.

I was a good flick, but from a pilot's perspective, a lot of the flying scenes were WAY over
exaggerated! All the shaking, blurring and loud noises, etc. Not realistic at all.
It did however depict a good bio of Neil's life
