Lithium-Iron (LFP) are definitely the way to go for you AUX power e.g. 12V on your Pinz.
My 712's primary 12V is backed up with a 60Ah Bioenno LFP. I will be converting my 710
over to at least 100Ah, replacing the 4 Yellowtop's for the 12V system -- taking out over
100 lbs of weight and freeing up space. Under discharge LFP's hold up over 12.7V so I
can also eliminate a 12V booster. Although the sticker price is high they will outlive any
AGM or flooded-cell several times over so in the end they are cheaper not more expensive.
Although they don't deliver the equivalent instantaneous amount of current as lead-acid
they can't be used for cranking or a Winch. They also don't take a charge well when your
in freezing temperatures.
