New RollpaX gas cans

Saw the new RollPax cans and having been impressed with Rotoax stuff I thought these could be useful on some builds. They aren't cheap at around $170 and are made for roll-bar mounting but also do flat mounting. The quality of the 2.5g normal can they have was very nice and I had it on the Gwagen instead of a Nato can and never looked back. These Rollpax are only 1.5gl but that's enough for some applications, or could supplement your others. It might fit where others don't. Might be useful as a heater fuel can too. Hopefully the price will come down because I'm not sure how many people are going to throw that much at a container.

Never used a RotoPax or RollPax before, but do these cans swell just like a regular plastic gas can?

They do swell some, though metal cans do too just not as much. The regular Rotopax cans are very well made and the plastic is super tough and thick. I like them for the size choices, ease of handling and mounting system.

Those are neat and probably as well made as you say, but unless I had some life changing reason to absolutely have to have that design, I’d put a gallon of gas in an empty milk jug before I spent $170 for something that only holds 1.5 gal of fuel. Sometimes money spent isn’t money spent well.
