GG's 10th Anniversary

Hello all. Today is the 10th anniversary of my receipt of my 718K, RHD and 2.5 TDI . (only 7 Pinzes were manufactured by ATL in the UK with the VW 2.5TDI and in right t hand drive, all were 718s, 3 were K and 4 Ms). I had the good fortune to purchase it from BAE in Sealy Texas. The original manufacturing plant for the US army tactical trucks (FMTV) from 1994 through 2010.
GG ( Green Grail) was ordered when S/S had purchased Pinzgauer LTD and was the North American military demonstrator, where in the 8 years of ownership it only amassed 262 miles when I purchased it. in January of 2014
The first pic was while still in Sealy inside the Stewart/Stevenson manufacturing plant. This building used to be fill with FMTVs being made. The second and third pics were as I received in Los Angeles, Ca. The last is as it looks in 2024.The only mods done were the addition of electric a/c, TPMS, GPS w/ wireless back-up camera and new tires. Through they looked new, I didn't want to risk a blowout on 18+ year old tires
