I was using some of the above laundry detergent the other day to blow bubbles!

Actually I was desperate for some soap in a spray bottle to look for leaks on a Range Rover air suspension system and this was all I could find handy at the supermarket around the corner from our shop.

Having blasted the air bags, compressor and valve block, I directed some onto the engine pan, surprise instant clean. I then sprayed a bunch of it on a a Classic that wasn't too oil tight, after a few minutes I hosed it off, grease crud gone.
Then like a kid with a squirt gun I blasted a Pinz crankcase, left it for a while and same result. Ooh nice!

It must be yer biological action mate I thought!

Whatever the stuff is it is better than some pro-degreasers we buy at 'appropriate' pro shop pricing. (expensive & big claims too)
So the next time you want to clean the Pinz don't bother with Checker et al simply hit the local grocery store! Smells nice too!

I associated with a number of girls the other night, (Male Adult Theater) acutaly it was this morning, and one of particular talent caught my eye, here name was bubbles.

Now I find myself, without transportation, in a truckstop in Barstow. Just how am I going to explain all of this to my business partners?

They had expectations of female company after the casino closed down, and they put all the responsibility on me.

I fear that my future is ruined, if not worse.

Should I now become a distributor of The Robar injection systems family, and make my way back into society?

Or should I just stay where I am?

They tell us to not drink the water when traveling down South......................

Wow that spray and wash really works!!!! I used it this weekend and got all the oil of the axles and motor, stuff that all the expensive engine cleaners left behind. Then I used it to get the grease off my hands, works better then any hand cleaner I have ever used. I got it at Costco for 14.00 for 144oz. There must be a 1001 uses for it. What uses can anyone else come up with for this stuff? I’m thinking of using it to give the cat a flea dip?

Other uses, ask Tony, it seems to have quite a kick when taken in shot glasses.

I'll definitely be using it before replacing my axle, on the truck not in a glass...

Gona give this stuff a try this weekend, the extra strength model.

Some rodents were inhabiting my camper generator for awhile making several nests & crapped all over the motor. They also enjoyed munching on the wiring especially the spark plug wire. Hope I can rejuvenate it back to operating condition again it only had 3hrs on it

Just spray it on! (Oh I was poet and didn't know it!)

Leave it on for a while then hit it with water.

Seriously though, getting components clean is much a part of esthetics as proper repair execution in the pro auto service business. Ok the outside is more a matter of customer appeal but the old addage "if it looks right --- it is right" still stands good.

Getting components clean can be a costly excercise, we have a "dish washer", a recycling spirit cleaner, and then a plethora of different makers of "stuff' in cans. 'Spray' 'squeeze', 'dilute', 'brush on', this list is endless. Some manufacturers are better than others but most these days are based on citrus acid (delimonene for the chemists amonst you).
Some of this stuff is expensive and alot of the chemical manufacturers have reduced their "magic ingredients" or changed them on the basis of chemical toxicity or potential enviro damage. The upshot is simply that the cost for the material has gone up but theres a big debate on how effective some of the products are. Basically value for money, for me most are a rip off on a unit cost basis.

That spray 'n wash stuff is cheap, available in gallons and does a brilliant job from what I see. Besides you should have seen the face of the last Salesman who wanted me to re order the next batch of expensive goop.

John my side kick and #1 aid recons I should have been a star on a the film Second Hand Lions!. I suppose he bases this on my loathing of the salesmen troop that come trapsing through the shop peddling their wares.

Now THAT made me laugh....what a great comparison, and a great movie.

Yeh well seriously I have dreamt of having the shotgun (even though I loan firearms) and doing the warning shot thing as seen in that movie.

Waldo had nothing on the 2nd hand lions. Maybe that is the way to go out. Pinz into the side of the mountain!!

As long as Im buried in whats left of the Pinz, Im good with that.LOL
