Simple was the advantage the Russians used in space. We Americans invented the zero gravity pen. At a cost of ???? and the Russians used a pencil. I like simple. I work on Land Rovers and Pinzies every day. How many computers does it take to open the sun roof on a Land Rover Disco I and on a Pinzie? The Disco has a sun roof ecu that talks to the window lift ecu that talks to the security ecu. So 3 on the Disco. Sunroof on a Pinzie, remove sraps on the front and roll back so 1 or 2 if there is a passenger. Kinda like a pencil in space. And no failure in the window lift ecu or the alarm ecu.
