Off Roading and Ham Radio

Post by Bruce Berger »

All,

I know that more than a few Pinzgauer owners have some sort of ham radio equipment in their rigs. Here is a site I just found out about which may be of interest -

http://www.oausa.net/

The site is dedicated to the melding of the off road and ham radio hobbies.

A perfect fit for all you "K" owners out there :D

Thanks for the link I will be getting my HAM license as soon as I find the time.
Don't know all that much about it but do you know if the antennas that come with some of the trucks are in any way useful for HAM radio?
What kind of setup do you have in yours?
