Anyone know whats up with COLD WAR REMARKETING??

Any body have any Idea what is up with Patrick at Cold War Remarketing??

I placed an order for some parts only he had listed on the web on 06-18-08 and got a call a few days later from him saying he was buglarized and he would get my order out in 2 weeks and now I have left message and email after email - now his phone wont take messages any more and I have had no reply!!!



SHOULD HAVE JUST ASKED SCOTT @ EXPEDITION IMPORTS TO SPECIAL ORDER IT HUH!!!!!!!! Well live and learn!!

If anyone knows anything let me know please!!!!!!!

I have always had good luck with Patrick. But this has been braught up on this forum and the unimog forum in the past. I think I'll just stay away from the hole Denver crowd.

What do you mean double posting not a good idea???????????? :? :? I removed the duplicate posting from classified section because this is where this topic of disscussion should be!!!!

I am about 2 days away from reporting it to my credit card company and letting them handle it ! :(

Come on! 2 months waiting for parts that you were told would be 2 weeks away is unreasonable isnt it?!

I just posted on the forum so I could get some feedback and see if the guy had some legit problems I should consider, waiting to see if he would answer one of my umpteen emails or 5 or 6 phone calls before his phone stopped taking messages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today his phone takes messages!!!!!! :shock:

I am not bashing anyone - I am trying to find out what happened to my $'s and why for 2 or 3 weeks I have had NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE TO NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL and if anyone else has had contact with him - you say you you had good luck with him - another PM'ed me and said he was at CWR last week?? I have been trying to contact CWR for a month and I cant get ahold of them!!!!

I, for one, am very happy to see people informing us of the good and bad on customer service from vendors. To me, the customer service is everything. If I do not get good customer service in a place, I don't complain even when I should, I just don't go back. I'm the kind of guy that will pay alittle more when I know up front that the customer service is excellent.

As far as waiting for parts, I do not have the time to wait. If I have projects going, I need it now, not one or two months down the road.

To get to the point, thanks for the post so I know who is good out there as well not so good.

I am going to file a claim/report/chargeback with my credit card company and let them deal with this guy!!!!! :shock:

I have had a lot of good response via PM's on this subject enlightening me of the character of this dude (only term I could use) that has robbed me of my $'s for parts paid in good faith expecting delivery as one would - I didnt even complain when he said he would ship out in two weeks (I gave him time) how ever after 2 month I have to draw the line!!!! :x

From now on EXPEDITION IMPORTS AND SWISS ARMY VEHICLES will be MY source for parts and any time I can I will inform fellow Pinz owners of who is good and who is bad to deal with! :D :D :D

Scott gets all of my parts requests at this point and he has sold me I think 3 hydraulics winches and at least 2 or 3 electrics not to mention Pinz and Unimog parts. Nothing but good stuff with good service to boot and very responsive.


SAV is fine but the girls don't know much if you need to ask questions. They also ship fedEx and I think FedEx hates me. Last time I got something delivered by those a-holes they left it directly under a rain spout and there was no one home and they it was kind of hidden so I didn't see it for probably two days . It was some troop seat brackets for my m37 and they were steel in the white, no paint or anything. Can you say f'ing rusty?

Sorry to hear about the rain spout deal - that stinks! :shock:

I know how Scott deals and he should be praised for his keen business sense and honesty - nothing but good times and transactions with Scott @ Expedition Imports and also SAV! :D

Just this dude at CWR is screwing off for some unknown reason - Im not the only one I have heard some recent horror stories about having to go find the guy and his appearance and excuses! :roll:

Like I said - SORRY FOR HIM! I spend alot of $CHING$ and now he wont get any of it! :wink:

I am just waiting to hear back from the credit card company now - the deal is done as far as I am concerned.

Just got an email from Patrick and a phone # to reach him and he answered - said he would make it right and get me my parts or a refund - said he had computer crash hard drive problems that screwed his emails and phone messages and was trying to get info retrieved and would have all the info for my order in a couple of days!

I will post what happens and when.

Looks like things might change - two months?????????

Got an email from Patrick saying he had a bunch of problems (AS IF I THOUGHT HE WOULD HAVE A NEW LINE) and cant muster the integrity to fill my order so he is going to refund my money after holding on to it for 2 months!!!

Dam how can a person like that stay in business???????

PS: Checked with my credit card company and no refund has been issued so I am going to fill out the form I got in the mail today to backcharge CWR!

He "SAYS" he refunded just what I sent him two months ago! My credit card web page doesnt show it but as before I will give him the benifit of doubt AGAIN!

He should suck up - man up - be a proper business man and send me my parts I have been waiting for - he can keep interest - im not like that - I just - I cant figure why - expected my parts I have been waiting for like a kid waiting for Santa!

I pay my credit cards prior to them being due - as I alway do - so 2 months ago he took money out of my pocket and after "ALL THIS" he whoosed out and "SAID" he would refund my $'s - hasnt happened yet! His actions are deplorable and he should be ashamed to raise his head ever agian !

As the POLL in this section shows - he has a very small customer base and 50%+ are disssatisfied with their "cold shopping experience war" it cant be far off that he meets his demise.

WELL SORRY FOR HIM - HE JUST LOST A CUSTOMER OF UNTOLD POTENTIAL!
