712m to 712k using all factory parts

Post by Erik712m »

I'm far from done but so far here a pic of what it looks like to take two 710K tops and welding them to make a 712k Top.Image

All parts are factory Pinzgauer parts supplied by Scott when he had his black Friday sale. Having seen miles pics before I started. I would have gone down that path.

I like the full hard top factory look, besides you can still cut and weld in the side doors if you decide to later. Mine puts the door opening over the rear wheel which doesn't work, but I really wanted to keep the front as a soft top.

It's good to have a wide variety of conversions to droole over. :D

More pics!!

Lots of Pinz pictures here.......

Remember. I'm no welder so it was the best I could do which is pretty good I have to say a little bond will hide a lot.

erik,

This is one of the nicest conversions I have seen yet, however, most of the pictures above say they have been removed or deleted. I would love to see more.

When I was in CO several months ago, I stopped at Cold War Remarketing(another story all together) and I saw his facory converted 712 Pinz that looked very similar to this with the Daktari stripes. It had a lot of unique features and was in excellent condition. It even had factory installed power steering!!

Wonderful work on your truck and I can't wait to see more pictures!!

Keep them coming!!
