Car cover for a 712?

Post by texas pinzgauer »

I've checked previous posts but have seen nothing about car covers for a 712. The Chevy Astro Van cover worked like a champ for the 710 but I can't believe that it will work for a 712.

Any suggestions on what does work (best) for a car cover for a 712?

Thanks!

My recollection was that any 1980s vintage Chevy Astro van type cover was going to work.

Check out your local RV store. Campers covers will certainly fit.

Actually, I've been thinking Ford Econoline as being a potential fit but an RV dealer sounds like an excellent suggestion!

I'd be entrusted on what you end up with and how it fits. I would like to keep, Store the pinz at the house. Image

After a lttle bit of looking around, I came across Car Cover USA and pulled the trigger on their EP-V2 cover ($84.99 + shipping). Their number is 718-701-0507.

As you can see from the photos (if I did it right) this turned out to be a perfect fit for a 712.

If your summers are like anything like our summers (and they are by the way) the cover is going to help keep this thing from either melting or spontaniously combustng!
