Any idea how this guy mounted his door panels?
If you look at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pinzgauer/ the truck in the image on the main page has his upper doors mounted directly behind him. I'd love to be able to do this. Did he drill holes in the top of the side panels?

Door top storage ideas...got any?
Before Andre Swanson built my 710 rack (where specific accomodation was made for the door tops) they usually stayed in the garage.
I was wondering if others could share their ideas on the best way to store their door tops in/on/around their Pinzs.
Photos will also be useful!

Its pretty easy. The biggest problem I had when I did it was using the wrong sized drill bit - use the right size to make it cleaner.
Put the holes in the right places. Don't necessarily put the holes dead center - you want the lip of the door to hang over the outside edge, not ride on the rail lifting it up 1/4 inch.
You want to tie the door tops down. A strap on each side at the top around the rail under the canvas did the trick.
I ended up buying a gun rack and use that now to mount the doors. I didn't like the other location because it blocked the views of passengers.
