Ramona Motors is out of business

Post by pinzwheeling »

Hi Guys, just wanted to thank everyone for their support and friendship over the years. We are officially shut down, and we're clearing out the shop this week.

You will still be able to contact Jim or I via this board, and those of you who have our cell phone numbers can still get hold of either of us that way.

Hopefully (if it happens) we'll be attending Mogfest this year and get to see everyone then.

Sorry to hear that, I wish you the very best in whatever it is you venture into next. I congratulate you for trying to start up and run a business... again good luck in the present and future!
Looking to step into something new, planned or not - but has to be fun.

Actually, I will be keeping it going, but on a much smaller scale. I'm planning on catering towards customers that acutally have money to buy cars instead of many of the derelicts that came in here with bad credit and no money.

Looking like a 5-10 car operation instead of a 20-30 car operation. That way it can be run by appointment only, instead of having to spend all my time sitting at the dealership waiting for customers.

I'll keep you guys informed.

I believe that Jim is planning some type of consulting operation with SB (the owner of my *sniff* old truck). I'm sure he'll post his status when he firms it up.
