No, but I'd be happy to break it and trade parts + storage location since the entire truck is less than a replacement tranny.

The int. pics look like flood damage, or at the least, a top left off in lots of bad weather.

nah its just the residue left from the spray out of the AZ dust. Still can't place the truck though. I have an extra engine laying around that would fit that thing nicely, just don't need another project.

I'll bet it can be traced back to Peter Nufer in Wickenburg. '75s weren't allowed in California, which would rule out Stefan.

That would be one of the least problematic of things that Stefan did...

It was only a number.... Strefan wasn't concern with those

And for those might remember, Cal had a rolling exemption similar to the Feds until Uncle Arnie signed the law in 2002 to lock it at 1975....

Ohh Arnie signed it... the years are a blur to me anymore  , it was 2004 . Because of AB2683, I couldn't register a LR 101FC.... ended up selling it to a guy in Canada

I'm new to the forum - but I bought the Pinzgauer on e-bay. I currently have a 712 - but needed mostly sheet metal / body parts for my 712 - and this seemed to be the best way to get those. I specifically needed the rear roll bar / tail gate / rear seats / top cover frame. Other than that - I will eventually be parting out the rest. If there is interest in a specific part - please let me know. Also, I'm not sure about more specifics on this truck and why it was left like this - but if anyone has any information on it - I would be interested in hearing about it.
Thanks
Larry
