the bumper and brush guard look like the factory "heavy duty" front bumper. There is a picture in the back of one of the manuals

What is the small rectangular door/panel just forward of the bottom of the driver's door? If there are 5 more 5 gals cans on other side (ballast?), that extra 50 gals (total reserve) would be nice for an extended expedition :D ! Maybe there is a door amidship on the other side?

This particular Pinzgauer is one of the few that were reimported to Europe from Oman.

I know the actual owner of this vehicle. The vehicle was rebuild completely as far as I know. It is still a camper from the inside, but most parts on the outside of the vehicle like the Jerry can holders the Roof rack and the brush guard including the external air filter were removed. The heavy duty bumper is still there and he added an auxillary fuel tank on the left side of the vehicle.

The Pinz is for sale now if anybody is interested.

There must be some aftermarket vent that can be sprayed green to match, although cutting up a 40 year old vintage vehicle is kinda hard to do.

Move to Seattle, never too warm for the Pinz :P

Do a search on this forum. IIRC, somebody found 'em in a horse trailer catalog...
