Post by Pinzmad »

**Also testing image posting...

So while browsing some adventure riding ride reports on http://www.advrider.com, I saw this

197x 712 getting the proper weight-limit exploration treatment. I think this was somewhere in Kenya...

DHL ships worldwide ;)

Seriously though, I don't know of a local supplier, even though current patent owner (BAE) has a presence in South Africa. Something I guess I'll explore more if/when I venture into ownership/restoration.

The licence is for the TD Pinzes...BAE bought Armor Holdings, who bought Stewart and Stevenson, who bought ATL (Automove Technik Ltd) that bought the Turbo Diesel Pinz licences from SDP.... check your game card....BAE isn't doing too well with some of these brand names... the last "big" order of Pinzes were the Kiwis ( before S&S purchase)... the S&S contracts for the FMTVs went to Oshkosh in 2010.
.
The Trojan Horse... the 1st Pinz used to covertly carry troops into battle .
