My first REAL 4x4!

Post by Mr_Fixit »

Hey all, nice to meet you. :D My name is Jim and I just recently bought my firstREAL 4x4! Some of you may know the previous owner, John in CA, he had the 710K forsale on Craigslist. I must say I am vary impressed with this unit and am looking forward to a long love affair mith mynew baby :P

I took possession only a week ago and have already done amazing things with it including make EVERYONE who glimpses it stop and admire. I took the family to the mountains this weekend and wow was I impressed. Then a little disappointed as I bloke the passenger side mirror off and also the drivers rear shock bolt. Not that Iwas trying to brake it lol, things just ki da happened.

Hope to meet some local pinzers one day as im only about 90 miles from Northern Colorado and get some ideas on places to go.

Talk to you all soon

Welcome to the club! Mirrors should be listed as consumables. Do a search from mirror as its been discussed a lot and there are several less expensive options if you don't need to stay original.

Yep mirrors are definitely a consumable lol. I did fin a nice cheap replacement from NAPA for $15 and mounts for $6. Not as nice as the original ones as they are a flat glass and not 1/2 convex but they will do for now. If anyone wants the part number I'll gladly post them up. Still working on getting some pics up of it, debating on a paint job atm.
