No, the probability is that the 718 is 24v. The Pink Cow is one of the Swedish Pinz contract that were 12v... there were between 35 to 39 vehicles. The majority of all TDs were still 24v.
If I was so inclined to add a/c, I would look at any of the Volvos or VWs with a diesel for a compressor. A typical engine with the proper brackets.
On this side of the pond, Red Dot would be the ticket.

That's interesting. That's the first non Swedish Pinz I've heard of that was 12v. I knew they made them, just not many...... somewhere in my archives, I have a wiring diagram and "special components" part list for 12v TD Pinzes. ...... Which version is your trruck? P80, P90 or P93?
Post a pics of your truck for us.
Cheers

Cool
...I like the nose of the P80s the best...since you're new here, do a search on the Pink Cow, that is my truck. It would be best to ask any technical questions in the TurboD part of this forum, the gassers have very little in common with the TDs...... someone is liable to tell you to check your distributor timing..or rebuild your carbs.
To post pics here, they need o be stored on an online website, like photobucket, then use img button in the "post a reply" menu, then the link to the pic, then /img button, after the link. the preview button at the bottom of the page will show you if you got it right or not.
If you like, you can send them directly to me, and I can post what you like. Also, if you send your VIN, I can let you know which version of the cooling system you have.

Man Dave, Before I got home to day from work. I had a post all figured out in my head. Now that you've responded it kind of ruins it. But I'll post any way maybe some will get a chuckle out of it
. If he's recommending something it's probably of high quality.

Gary, Hi you are new to the forum so you may not know Dave, but he has been around sense the beginning of pinzgauer forums. You see he's as old as dirt (if he was a lizard he'd be a belt by now)will try red dot they look quality units, has anybody used there products.
